Lost bird, Shannon Road, Krugersdorp - sun conure parrot named Havi

Shannon Road, 59, Krugersdorp

His name is Havi, pronounced Hah-Wie/Hah-Vee, he should come if you call, or hold your arm out and click your fingers. He's got a yellow chest and head with orange banding around his eyes like a mask, green wings and a dark blue tile. He is a sun conure parrot, 5 months old and he is my entire world. If you see him you can lure him in with carrots, bread, peppers, seed (loves peanuts as well) and if you have a coke bottle, show him the lid, he loves chewing on the lids. If you can find him, please turn him in at any of the vets in the area and let me know, I have contacted them all but just in case, I’ll rush over to bring him home, there will be a reward for anyone who can bring him back to me. Reward offered of R1000 and a one hour tattoo session with the incredibly talented Roger Gordon Paul Lambert

HI everyone, Please help me find Havi Havi has been sighted in Kenmare and Monument so we know he's alive and in the area. The sightings so far : Katherine and Lindhout street - 25th April, Woodstream Lofts - 2 March, Kenmare around Patrick Road - 3rd March, Monument Primary on Sarel Potgieter Road - 4 March. I've included a sighting map here for anyone smarter than me to try track where he is most likely to be next. According to ChatGPT he is most likely to be around Woodstream lofts on Piet Retief street, it looks like he's circling home trying to find his way home. Please please please keep an eye and ear out tomorrow and let me know if you spot him! If you can't catch him, let me know and i will try my best to come get him. A good catching guide is below : First rule: DO NOT CHASE If you walk toward him quickly, he will fly If multiple people surround him, he will panic and leave the area The goal is to make him come to you What TO do 1. Stay calm and still Stand or sit near where he’s seen Keep movements slow Don’t stare directly at him constantly 2. Talk to him gently Soft, friendly voice Repeat simple sounds or whistles Even random gentle talking helps (he’s used to humans) 3. Use food (this is key) If possible, offer: Apple slices Grapes Banana Seeds or nuts Hold the food out low and steady, don’t wave it around 4. Let him come closer step-by-step He may hop branch to branch toward you This can take several minutes Do NOT rush when he gets close 5. If he lands nearby Stay still Slowly offer your hand or a perch If he steps up → gently secure him 6. If he won’t step up Use a towel, jacket, or cloth and try throw it over his head (best to try do this when he's looking away or distracted) Move slowly and confidently (not fast grabbing) Please see my other posts for details on the reward for catching him and contact me on if you see him or better yet, if you've managed to catch him! if you need to you can take him to your nearest vet and ask them to contact me, i've spoken to all the vets in the area already and will come collect him as soon as possible. Thank you so much to everyone for your support and efforts to try get my baby home, i appreciate this community so much and can't wait to get my baba back!.
