Is it free to post a listing?

You can post a listing for your lost or found pet on Pet911's website for free. However, we also offer premium service that can increase the chances of finding your pet and bringing it home as soon as possible.

Why do I have to use Paid Services?

Pet911 offers Paid services that can help accelerate the search for your lost pet and increase the chances of a successful reunion. You can select from various paid services that suit your specific situation. Apart from publishing your listing on Pet911's social media channels, we will also set up targeted advertising to inform as many people as possible in your local area. Through the paid services, your listing will be visible to a large number of subscribers on social networks, volunteers, and staff at nearby clinics and shelters. Additionally, Pet911.co.za will inform you about similar missing or found animals in your vicinity.

Is there a way to confirm that my Paid Services are connected and working?

When you post a listing for your missing pet, Pet911 provides premium options to increase the visibility of your listing. Once you make the payment for the premium services, you will receive a confirmation email from Pet911.co.za about the activation of the selected services. Within a few hours, we will set up your missing pet advertisement and notify our volunteers so that your listing can be seen by as many people as possible. If you need assistance or updates on the placement of your listing, our support team is always available to help.

What if the money for paid promotion runs out?

Can you provide any guarantees that my lost pet will be found?

How do I take down my listing from the site?

If you want to remove your listing from the site, you can do so by accessing your Profile page. On a computer, click on the icon located in the upper right-hand corner. If you are using a phone, click on the icon in the lower right-hand corner. Once you are on your Profile page, find the listing that you want to remove and click on the red "Unpublish" button located next to it. This will remove your listing from the main listings, but it will still be saved in your Profile on the “Unpublished” page for future reference if needed.

I haven't received a new password request in my email account.

It's possible that you haven't received a link to reset your password for a few reasons. First, make sure that you've entered the correct email address associated with your account. If you still don't see the email, it's worth checking your Spam folder as the password reset link may have been filtered there. It's also possible that there is an issue with your email account receiving mail. If this is the case, you can try waiting a while and then requesting a new password reset link.
