Service Fees and Payments
Fee Structure
Pet911.co.za offers both free basic listings and premium options that require a one-time payment. Current fee schedules are available on the Site. All fees due from you to us are referred to as "Service Fees." A full breakdown of applicable Service Fees is available upon request, including advertising/service fees spent through social media.
Payment Process
For premium listing options, you make a one-time payment and, upon receipt, we apply the paid options to your pet listing. You are responsible for paying all applicable Service Fees at the time you order premium services. By purchasing these services, you authorize us to charge the payment method you have provided.
If your payment method is invalid or inactive, we will be unable to process your request for premium services.
Premium Services Duration
Different premium services have different durations and operational timeframes:
- One-Time Services: Some premium services are provided on a one-time basis, such as informing veterinary clinics and local volunteers about a lost pet. These services are performed once upon receipt of payment.
- Local Area Notifications: Our service that notifies residents in the local area is delivered through targeted advertising campaigns on Facebook. These campaigns typically run for 2-5 days, with the exact duration depending on the allocated budget.
- Similar Found Pet Notifications: If you purchase the service for notifications about similar found pets, this service will remain active until you remove your lost pet listing from our platform. While this service is active, you will receive email notifications every three days when similar found pets are reported in your area.
All premium services are activated promptly after we receive your payment. By purchasing these services, you understand and agree to these specified timeframes.
Refund Policy
All refund requests must come from the email used to create the account under which the premium service was purchased. Due to the urgent nature of lost pet situations and costs incurred immediately upon applying premium options to your listing, refunds are limited to the following circumstances:
- Service Malfunction: If our premium service did not function as described (e.g., ad campaign did not run, targeted the wrong area). To request a refund, email [email protected] with details of the malfunction within 14 days of purchase.
- Billing Error: If you were charged incorrectly (e.g., duplicate charge). To request a refund, email [email protected] with details of the billing error within 30 days of the charge.
All refund requests will be reviewed by our support team. If verified, a refund will be provided through your original payment method.
Modifications to the Service
We strive to improve Pet911.co.za continually. As such, we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that affect core functionality.
Termination
